How you can help
White-bellied Sea-eagle

A White-bellied Sea-eagle (Haliaeetus leucogaster) was taken to the Taronga Western Plains Zoo Wildlife Hospital after a local resident found it collapsed and unable to fly. The rescuer has watched this bird live and breed on his property at Narromine for many years. Staff at the hospital intensively treated the bird for about 10 days before it was released back to Narromine. This was the first White-bellied Sea-eagle seen at the hospital for over 15 years.
