Galapagos Tortoise hatchling gets new furniture

We have started to introduce ‘furniture’ into his enclosure. Not the furniture we have in our homes but things such as rocks and a large piece of bark which he can explore and investigate. 

NJ seems to be quite intrigued by his new furniture and we often see him climbing on the bark or sussing out the rocks.

Yesterday was measurement day for NJ which has now reached 100.6grams! Very small in comparison to the adult tortoises at the Zoo but still he is growing well, which is great to see.
