After the group returned to their newly renovated exhibit in late September, there was a lot of busy activity while they enjoyed the complexity of the exhibit, testing out all the new climbing structures and the interactive equipment. Having tired themselves out exploring, most chimps can now be seen lying in the sun grooming each other, resting on the grass or as Furahi (one of the young males) prefers, lying cross-legged on the logs over the exhibit waterfall, in full view of zoo visitors! He can be seen there every day from the hours of 11am to 2pm!
