There was a different bird on the tarmac of the Dubbo airport over the weekend, when a QantasLink plane featuring images of Rhinos and Giraffes flew in on Saturday morning to celebrate the Zoo’s 35th birthday.
During the past 14 months the plane has been seen by thousands of passengers across Australia promoting the Zoo and its amazing wildlife.
Over 70 guests flew to Dubbo on this special debut flight to spend some time experiencing the sights and sounds of the Zoo including getting up close and personal with a Giraffe, meeting Cuddles the African Elephant and seeing the Lions enjoy a midday snack.
