Zoofari Lodge makeover

The main house at Zoofari Lodge has undergone a major transformation over the past six weeks with the interior now featuring a more contemporary African-inspired décor and styling.

The new-look main house now features a beautiful iron bark bar, banquet dining and custom-made furniture along with an open fire. Outside the deck has been extended to allow for alfresco dining in the warmer months. There’s also new landscaping and a upgrade to the swimming pool.

The menu has also changed and now features a feast of culinary delights inspired by Africa. The mouth watering entrees, mains and dessert will take your tastebuds on a trip around Africa. From starters including African chapatti, Berber pastries and Egyptian damper through to tagine lamb and potjiekos (similar to a pork stew) for mains.  You can now complete your Zoofari dining experience with a decadent Zimbabwe chocolate mud cake.

Before departing Zoofari Lodge, guests will enjoy a cooked to serve African-inspired breakfast that will have them ready to explore the rest of the Zoo.
