Taronga Western Plains Zoo: Early Stage 1 to Stage 1

This covers a stimulating range of topics and activities in Zoo Education for young children, including learning what Zoo Keepers do and following our Maths Trail.

Taronga Western Plains Zoo: Stage 2 to Stage 3

As young children mature, Zoo Education helps them to understand the relationships between animals, and the place of human beings in the natural world.

Taronga Western Plains Zoo: Stage 4 to Stage 6

At this higher level, the Zoo’s educators guide children through issues such as declining biodiversity and endangered species, and explore the Zoo as a business.
