Taronga Western Plains Zoo is an award winning establishment with a recognisable presence in conservation, tourism and business communities. Come and learn about business and tourism from NSW premier inland tourist attraction.
This new day long program will offer students the opportunity to learn about the Zoo as a business and a successful tourism operator. The program will include topics such as role of the Zo and strategic direction, economic benefits, marketing a Zoo, competitior anaylsis and visitor experience and guiding to name a few. The program will also include a visit to awarding winning accommodation Zoofari Lodge and other key features of the Zoo.
The workshops are suitable for students in stage 6 - Business and Tourism studies.
Wednesday 22nd April 2015 and Wednesday 4 November 2015 (includes an overnight option on the Wednesday night for both dates) from 10am - 2pm.

Cost is $20.00 per student for the day program only or $93 for the day and overnight program save $6 per student.
