Today we had a day at Taronga to get us ready to head down to Chiltern for the wild release of 38 Critically Endangered Regent Honeyeaters. We played a few games to get to know each other and shared our ideas on how we could share this amazing project with other people at our schools. Some people's ideas were amazing and I'm really excited to use them at my school. We learnt a bit about the honeyeaters and watched a short YouTube clip about them. We skyped Dean Ingwersen from BirdLife Australia, who answered all of our questions about them. We heard some rumours of what things we will be doing up there and I just can't wait! It's going to be an amazing camp, and I just wish Saturday would be here already!
