Animals of the Dreaming is an exciting one hour program combining two fascinating aspects of Australia – native animals and Dreamtime stories. The presentation is delivered by a Zoo Education Officer and an Indigenous Zoo Staff member, who will weave Dreamtime stories through the animal presentation.

Animals of the Dreaming workshops can be presented to groups of various sizes and the nature of this workshop enables us to present to students or guest from any type of group within your school or community, large or small.

For educators, this program relates to a number of key learning areas, including HSIE, English and Creative Arts. Your class will be mesmerised by a variety of animals, music, stories, dancing and artefacts.

Animals of the Dreaming featuring Col Hardy

Col Hardy is the recipient of the Order of Australia, recognition of his contribution to the community over many years. Col has also been recognised for his musical talent through the Tamworth Country Music Festival's 'Golden Guitar' award. It is Zoomobile's honour to have Col co-present Animals of the Dreaming.

During the presentation, your students will hear stories and songs from the Dreaming about animals as told by our dedicated Indigenous Discovery Hosts.
