It's Zoo Business - a Marketing Day at Taronga Zoo

Taronga Conservation Society Australia (TCSA) is a unique organisation and not typical among Australian businesses. While a favourite tourist attraction due to its location and diverse animal collections, it is also a leader in research, conservation and education programs for both local and international markets.

Linking in with the Stage 6 Business Studies course, It’s Zoo Business half day program looks at how TCSA runs as a business.

Our special half day workshop at Taronga Zoo Sydney incorporates guest speakers from various Zoo divisions such as Marketing, Human Resources and Public Relations. Speakers will discuss their role in the business and marketing of the Zoo. Students will also watch a special keeper talk, highlighting the main business of the zoo – Conservation.

If you are unable to make it to this half day seminar, book into one of our curriculum-related workshops or Video Conference sessions for the Stage 6 Business Studies topic – Marketing.

Our workshops and video conferences are aligned with the Stage 6 Business Studies course and designed to provide students with an understanding of the nature and role of marketing within Taronga Conservation Society Australia, with special reference to Taronga Zoo.
