Learn how our keepers care for Australian wildlife while getting up close and personal with some of Taronga’s favourite Australian characters.
This course is held over two days as an accredited assessment pathway is offered during this course if desired. Successful completion will lead to a Statement of Attainment in ACMSPE303A provides basic care of common native mammals.
This unit of competency covers the process of identifying common native mammals, their behavioural and physical needs, providing daily care requirements, assisting with behaviour requirements and basic preventative health measures.
Entry Requirements
Minimum age requirement for this course is 16 years of age.
