iPads @ Taronga Zoo

Teaching Rainforests has just become more exciting at Taronga Zoo with the introduction of our 'Rainforest Heroes' app.

NSW school teachers are invited to attend Taronga Zoo, Sydney to explore the Rainforest Trail using Taronga's new Rainforest Heroes' iPad app.

This interactive and informative session will help teachers familiarise themselves with iPads and their limitless uses in education. Experience firsthand how technology can greatly enhance engagement and learning outcomes for all students.

Learn about the purpose of the app as well as aligning its use to the new NSW Australian Curriculum.  You will also see how the app can be used as an assessment tool for outcomes from the current and new Science Syllabus.

Then you will have an opportunity to experience the app yourself as you take off exploring the Rainforest Trail.
