Due to deforestation, Ring-tailed Lemurs are an endangered species. Taronga Zoo is proud to be assisting worldwide conservation efforts and the next new and exciting exhibit to open at the Zoo is the Lemur Forest Adventure.
Join us on the 26th of October to hear about Lemurs and other primates from their keepers. Hear about what is causing their loss of habitat as well as how you can empower students to make some simple choices that will assist the conservation efforts. You will also learn how this links with the new NSW Australian Syllabus and its’ cross curriculum priority of Sustainability. This will allow your students to understand issues of environmental sustainability and then to advocate action to improve the sustainability of many rainforest animals.
Then, get up close to the highly social Ring-tailed Lemurs with a keeper led walk through of this new and exciting exhibit.
