Sponsored by the NSW Department of Education and Training, the Taronga Zoomobile has been specifically designed for school groups that have difficulty coming to the Zoo. During a visit, the student audience will be able to meet, learn about and interact with native animals, encouraging them to take positive action in the conservation of our native wildlife.
The Zoomobile travels with a collection of Australian native animals and each program is delivered by one of our qualified and experienced educators. Your students' curiosity about the natural world will be sparked, as they come close to some of our country's most stunning wildlife, such as a snake, possum, frog, echidna, lizard, young crocodile and phasmid.
With programs available to suit Kindergarten through to Year 12, all students will benefit from a visit by the Zoomobile. Lessons will be delivered at the students' development level and programs can be tailored to all key learning areas.
The Zoomobile is only available from Taronga Zoo in Sydney and Tuesdays to Fridays during term only.
