Transporting such an intelligent and powerful group of wild animals is no mean feat and special cameras worn by the keepers and veterinary staff give you an all-access pass to this meticulously planned event.

Led by alpha male, ‘Labutu’, Taronga’s chimpanzees are world renowned for behaving just as a wild group of Chimpanzees … but with a coalition of beta males waiting in the wings to overthrow Labutu, the transfer to the new home is fraught with complex political machinations.
