Trip Advisor award

Taronga Western Plains Zoo has been awarded a certificate of excellence by Trip Advisor, the world’s largest travel site which recognises the power of traveller feedback.

Taronga Western Plains Zoo General Manager, Matthew Fuller said, “We have been awarded the certificate of excellence, for receiving exceptional traveller ratings over the past year.”

“The Zoo is now rated at a 4.5 which is among the very best of the businesses on the website, really promoting the Zoo as a great destination to visit.”

“This is a great achievement for the Zoo as it demonstrates that what we have to offer is really satisfying to the visitor and that they are enjoying their time at the Zoo,” said Matt.

“The next 12 months is going to be exciting times for the Zoo with the development of a new Meerkat exhibit and a new overnight accommodation experience.  So hopefully we can build on this great achievement further next year,” said Matt.

The award is only given to the most exceptional performers in Trip Advisor’s global business community and is a significant achievement deserving recognition from both travellers and staff.
