I am looking forward to the exciting challenge of expanding the Foundation’s role across the community in support of these very special people and their vital support of wildlife.”
The Foundation is the fundraising arm of the Taronga Conservation Society Australia, and since its foundation in 2000, has provided increasing support for the Zoos’ work. During this time, Taronga and Taronga Western Plains Zoos’ role in in the conservation of the world’s wildlife has rapidly expanded across projects from South Africa to South America and from frogs to elephants.
Taronga is now at the forefront of wildlife conservation undertaking education, research breeding and conservation programs in national and global partnerships aimed at ensuring a sustainable future for people and wildlife.
