So, this year the Taronga teachers joined up with some teachers from another very special place that teachers people all about nature and the environment! The teachers at The Royal Botanical Gardens can tell people and students all about plants! Rainforest plants, bush plants and even veggie gardens and aboriginal bush tucker!
This year the Zoomobile went to the Botanical Gardens for Science Week and taught students about animals and how they survived in the desert! And the Botanical Gardens teachers taught us about how plants do the same thing and how most animal and plants in those environments rely on each other to survive!
It was cool and we did it all in the Cactus Gardens were it was hot and sunny. I never knew zoo animals were allowed to go in a van to another place but it was great to learn about the plants and the animal at the same time!
