On Saturday 5th March Taronga celebrated its third year participating in the Mardi Gras Parade and staff took to the streets of Sydney to show off their creative dance moves, colourful costumes and to continue spreading the message about sustainable seafood.
Created from CD’s donated by schools throughout New South Wales, Taronga’s fish float represented the signatures of thousands of Taronga visitors who pledged their commitment for the use of sustainable seafood.

Although exhausted by the end of the parade Taronga staff were proud to show their support to diversity of our community and an important environmental message.
