How you can help
Endangered Frogs

The aim of this project is to understand the mechanisms of amphibian immunologic resistance and their application in the conservation of vulnerable NSW frog species. We propose to do this by combining classical clinical trials with cutting-edge gene technology together with multi-year field monitoring of wild and reintroduced populations.

This work will be undertaken with James Cook University.

Taronga contact is Dr Peter Harlow, Manager Herpetafauna.
