Bush Regeneration Volunteers assist our horticulture staff with bush regeneration, mainly of our native bushland properties, on the harbour forehsore.
Taronga Zoo
We meet at the Artist's Camp, Little Sirius Cove generally every second Sunday of the month from 8.30am to 12pm

| Taronga Zoo | Taronga Western Plains Zoo |
| 10 May 13 | TBA |
On the day you will need casual comfortable clothes, preferably long sleeves and long trousers, gloves, a hat and sunscreen. We supply tools (and cake and coffee!).
Is this right for me?
Suitable for those with a green thumb or just enjoy the great outdoors. Good physical fitness is required as bush regeneration can be hard work.
Our native bushland needs as much help as it can get, this is for people who’d like to roll up their sleeves and help out. The hard work we do for the bush contributes to a healthy habitat for the native plants and animals of the Zoo’s natural environment and Sydney Harbour's foreshore.
Minimum commitment: 12 months, once per month (negotiable).
Financial contribution: $25 joining fee
Volunteers are also asked to maintain a current Zoofriends membership while they are volunteering.
What training is required?
All Bush Regeneration Volunteers are required to complete a one day induction course. Additional training is provided on the job.
