Are you a part of the NSW art community?  Bring your skills and knowledge to our Wild! Rhinos art event, liaising with artists to promote the project and coordinating the preview event.

The purpose of the role is to:

  • Assist with the co-ordination of the artists submissions
  • Develop an artist’s database
  • Filing and storing submissions
  • Assisting to organize the sponsor preview event

Position Details

  • This position is required to work a minimum of one 1-2 days per week, between Monday – Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm, the days are negotiable
  • This position requires a commitment of 4 months (the approximate length of the project)
  • You will also be asked to attend a Taronga Induction

To be successful in this role you will have:

  1. Excellent communication skills
  2. Strong organisational & time management skills
  3. Ability to liaise with various personalities and conflict resolution skills
  4. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  5. Good computer skills; especially outlook, word and excel
  6. Excellent knowledge and movements within the art community

Cost

An administrative fee of $25.00 will be charged to the successful applicants.

Wild! Rhinos Artists Program

In April last year. Taronga put out a call out to artists requesting submissions for rhino designs. We were delighted when we received over 150 individual designs. A big thank you to all the artists that submitted design.
