What we support

The Taronga Foundation raises funds to support Zoo priorities including capital redevelopment, scientific research, breeding and education programs. The Taronga Foundation also supports conservation efforts for endangered species in Australia around the world.

The Taronga Foundation has contributed over $40million in financial support to priority projects since 2000.

Leaving a Gift in your Will

When you choose to leave a gift to Taronga in your Will, you are pledging to help us look after our animals at Taronga and Taronga Western Plains Zoo.  You are also helping to ensure a future for native and exotic animals for generations to come through our conservation programs. Your gift, however large or small, helps us continue to care for our animals and ensure that our zoos remain a place of wonder, beauty and learning for our children and our children’s children.

Our Donors

Taronga Foundation thanks the following for their significant support of $10,000 or more during the past year.
