How you can help
Wild Africa Encounter

The Wild Africa Encounter is an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour that brings you up-close and personal with some iconic African animals. See the critically endangered Black Rhinos and visit White Rhinos and Cheetah. The tour will also take you on a safari-like experience out on the African Savannah exhibit, where animals such as Giraffe and Zebra roam.  The Wild Africa Encounter is a great way to learn about the African animals at the Zoo and how the Zoo is helping these species.

The tour costs $29 for adults and $19 for children in addition to Zoo admission. Wild Africa Encounter commences at 10:45am, and lasts for about one hour.

The Wild Africa Encounter is available every day of the year except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day and weekdays during February. Contact us for booking, payment and enquiries.

All children 15 years and under must be accompanied by a paying adult.
