How you can help
Early Morning Walks

Starting at dawn, when the animals awaken, this leisurely-guided walk is a fabulous behind-the-scenes experience. You'll be escorted to off-limit areas by one of our volunteers and come face-to-face with some of the world's exotic and endangered species.

Informative and entertaining, the walk is suitable for all ages and fitness levels, taking two hours to complete. Early Morning Walks are conducted every weekend and on NSW public holidays (excluding Christmas day and New Year's Day) and additional walks are held on Wednesdays and Fridays during the eastern states public school holiday periods. During the months of February and November the walks are held on Sundays only.

The cost is $15 per adult and $7.50 per child (4-15 years) in addition to Zoo admission. The tours commence at 6:45am from the Savannah Visitor Plaza, and no booking is required.

If time is of the essence visitors can undertake an Early Morning Walk only without Zoo admission at $25 per adult and $12.50 per child (4 - 15 years).

Group bookings are welcome but please phone in advance to book. Details below.
