Your overnight experience starts at the Roar & Snore meeting point, at the Main Entrance, just outside the Zoo car park at 6.15pm, where you will be greeted by your hosts.

Enjoy refreshments and nibbles at our beautiful harbour-side campsite, followed by an opportunity to get up-close with some of the Zoo's friendliest creatures.
After settling into your purpose-built tent, you will enjoy a gourmet buffet dinner before a walk through the Zoo on a one-and-a-half hour night safari – an opportunity to experience the zoo with only an intimate group of fellow Roar & Snore guests.

As a Roar & Snore camper, you will rise to the warbles, rumbles, squeaks, growls and roars of the animals greeting the day. Your wildlife adventure continues with a light breakfast before you are treated to two exclusive, behind-the-scenes experiences. You are also welcome to spend the next day exploring the Zoo during the daylight hours.
Roar & Snore is the ideal adventure for families, friends, social clubs or employee training groups. In addition to our regular program, we can offer our corporate clients access to rooms for training or lectures (additional hire fees apply).
For inclusions, what to bring and where to meet, please download the fact sheet at the bottom of this page.
