The Experience

The sun will have only just begun to warm the pathways as you enjoy exclusive use of the grounds on this early morning guided walk including Australian animal displays and a hearty Aussie cooked breakfast. 

Enjoy the Zoo grounds before they open to the public, with a guided early-morning tour of the Australian animal displays including the kangaroos, koalas, wombats, echidnas and Australian birds. 

The highlight of this experience is the Platypus Pools, a recreation of the wonder of a Blue Mountains sandstone gorge. Here you’ll find over 40 species of Australian animals and the recently discovered “dinosaur tree”, the Wollemi Pine.
