Avoiding Crowds

Many people visit Western Plains Zoo each year, with public holidays, school holidays and weekends our busiest times. While our staff and keepers are well trained for our busy periods, we recommend visiting during our quieter days if you have difficulty with larger crowds or prefer a more intimate experience with our animals.
