Fish For Good

Fish For Good

Seafood is delicious and nutritious, but it’s a finite resource. We want to empower you to make informed choices when you buy seafood so that you can enjoy a great meal and help protect our oceans at the same time – we call this “Fish For Good”. Look for the blue MSC label on sustainable fish and seafood in shops and restaurants.

The Facts

Overfishing

What's the problem?

Currently almost 90% of the world’s fish stocks are depleted, overexploited or fished up to their limit. This is bad news for the communities that rely on fisheries for their livelihoods as well as the marine wildlife whose food sources are being depleted, and are often caught as by-catch with unsustainable fishing practices.
