Lawson’s Bearded Dragons are found only on the treeless Mitchell Grass plains of central Queensland. They bask in the sun during the day on low mounds of soil and shelter in deep cracks in the black soil. The Lawson’s Bearded Dragon is a pygmy form compared to the Common Bearded Dragon, with a much smaller ‘beard’ and body size.
Our iconic Aussie is in danger. Please help us keep them around forever.
