This amazing course is offered by Taronga's very own, highly experienced Primate Keepers!

Learn from the best and go behind-the-scenes to meet some of Taronga’s favourite characters. Get a personal look at what it takes to care for some of the smartest animals in the world like Gorillas, Orang-utans and Chimpanzees.

This course is held over one weekend.

This course covers the process of identifying mammals and their behavioural and physical needs, providing daily care requirements, assisting with behavioural and basic preventative health measures.

Please note: This course is not being offered as an accredited course.

Where is the course held?

Taronga Zoo, Bradleys Head Road, Mosman.

Entry Requirements

Minimum age requirement for this course is 16 years of age.
