Taronga Zoo in collaboration with Sydney University are calling on all budding scientist from Stage 2 to Stage 5 to Celebrate Science Week 2018. Join our Status Critical: A Conservation Challenge and become conservation change agents for the wild!
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to complete at least six activities in the Status Critical challenge designed around Taronga Zoo’s legacy species which are identified as critical. Conservation agents will learn about species that are the focus of conservation research at both Taronga Zoo and The University of Sydney.
Teams that complete the challenge will be in the running to win some awesome prizes and the first 12 classes to book will tour the exciting new game changing Taronga Institute of Science & Learning. This complimentary tour will include a visit to one of our new immersive classrooms that mimic either a desert, woodland or rainforest environment. Students will also have the opportunity to have some amazing animal encounters within these immersive classrooms.
