Zoo Entry & Event Start Time:

For Diamond, Gold and Silver ticketed patrons entry is from 6.00pm via the Zoo's main entrance gate. NYE tickets do not allow access to the Zoo prior to 6.00pm. Access to the Zoo will be on presentation of your Diamond, Gold or Silver tickets issued to you online by The Ticket Group (Moshtixs).

(If you are planning to visit the Zoo during the day you will need to exit the premises at 4.00pm when the Zoo closes to the public and re-enter at 6.00pm. Normal admission fees will apply during the day.)

Zoo Car Park:

Diamond and Gold ticket holders are entitled to park on-site at Taronga Zoo in the main Zoo car park by using the entrance at the end of Prince Albert Street and junction of Whiting Beach Road. Silver ticket holders can also purchase a voucher to park on-site for an additional $55 from Moshtixs.

Zoo Shuttle Bus:

All ticket holders can access complimentary parking at either Vista Street car park (entry off Vista Street) or Bridgepoint car park (entry off Horden Drive) at Spit Junction (3km from the Zoo). The shuttle bus service to and from the Zoo will pick up guests from the rear of Mosman Council, The Crescent, Mosman and will begin service at 5.00pm. This shuttle bus will continue to do trips to and from the Zoo throughout the evening, leaving regularly from the Main Entrance of the Zoo until approximately 11.30pm, and from the Zoo's coach parking area at the back of the Zoo from 11:30pm – 1:30am.

The best way to plan for your meal during the evening is to pre-purchase a gourmet hamper for two to enjoy on the night. Hampers from Taronga Piazza include a selection of delicious inspired antipasti dishes such as cured and smoked meats, flat breads, panini and sweet options, alongside a bottle of sparkling wine. Vegetarian options are also available. Please note Diamond event tickets come inclusive of a hamper for two.

Come prepared for this outdoor event with appropriate weather protection gear as the event will still proceed if it is raining. No funds are available. Ponchos are preferable to umbrellas.

Animals on Display:

Some animal exhibits will be open until 7.30pm. Once it is dark we ask that patrons keep to their ticketed area.

Please note patrons are welcome to bring their own food and non-alcholic beverages. Alcholic beverages will be on sale and a price list will be coming soon to this site soon. Bags will be checked on arrival and alcholic beverages will be confiscated if discovered.

All areas have picnic grounds which are suitable for picnic rugs and cushions. Low chairs are permitted. Diamond Patrons are provided with a bean bag and picnic rug. The Gold area is mainly amphitheatre style seating with long benches and spectacular views.
