Lines throughout the work connect to circles, which mean meeting places and coming together. The work relates to the rhino's journey for survival and the people who come together to fight to save it from extinction through valuable breeding and conservation programs.

Artist statement

Saretta Felding is an Aboriginal contemporary artist who loves the challenge of conveying to others, through art, her life experiences and natures beauty. She endeavours to communicate within her work a connection to people, spirit and country, evoking emotion and inviting the viewer to ponder, dig deeper and experience something new.
