The Taronga Foundation raised over $340,000 for tigers last Friday at the annual Zoofari fundraiser in a spectacular Marquee at Taronga Zoo overlooking the Harbour. The jungle-themed night saw 380 people captivated by big cats keepers Justin Powell and Louise Ginman as they talked about Taronga’s successful Sumatran Tiger breeding program – 30 bred since 1979!

With auction items like the tiger-striped Vespa motor scooter, the Taronga Foundation guests quickly pushed the fund-raising beyond $340,000 for Tiger Conservation.
