Boo at the Zoo

This year, on Saturday October 31st, Taronga Zoo will be hosting it’s very first “Boo at the Zoo” Halloween Spooktacular! Halloween is the time of year when it is said that spirits rise from the grave, and considering that Sydney is the oldest city in Australia, we bet we’ll have a few unseen visitors amongst the crowds!

On Halloween we will have three special presentations at the iconic Free-Flight bird presentation theatre where we will meet animals from around the world that have an association with Halloween, or maybe are just thought of as a bit creepy.

Animals from Owls and Vultures, to snakes and spiders will be showcased as we learn not only why people think they are creepy, but why they are also very beneficial to have around!  In addition to the presentations there will be face painting, Halloween mystery touch boxes, touch tables with bones and skulls and much more!

So grab all of your little Batmen and Elsa's and head to Taronga Zoo on the 31st to be part of this festive day of fun for all!
