Taronga Zoo is supporting Earth Hour again this year at both our Zoos, including a special dedication to the event during our Twilight Concert. Taronga gets involved to show support and raise awareness for sustainability, our planet and our wildlife.
After our Bird Show, it is not uncommon that people will come down and ask us just how we train our birds. How do we get them to display their amazing behaviours? And, how is it that they do not fly away? The answer is easy, positive reinforcement.

As part of a 10 year Centenary Master Plan upgrade, Taronga has submitted plans to build an Australian Habitat Exhibit (phase 1) which includes an overnight conservation experience called the Taronga Wildlife Retreat.
