Following recent advice from the NSW Health Department and Federal Government on how best to manage the risks associated with the current Covid-19 outbreak, as of Tuesday 24 March, the Wildlife Retreat at Taronga will be temporarily closed.
The health and safety of our guests, our staff and the animals in our care is Taronga’s highest priority and we sincerely apologise for any disruption this will cause.
If you have made a reservation with us, we will be in contact very shortly to discuss the different options available to you regarding your booking at the Wildlife Retreat.
We have commenced contacting guests in order of booking date, starting with reservations for the remainder of March. These are extraordinary circumstances and we appreciate your patience as we work through these changes.
Thank you for your continued support and we wish you and your loved ones all the best during these difficult times and hope that you stay safe and healthy.
Taronga is a not-for-profit organisation and income from the Retreat supports our important wildlife conservation programs.
We look forward to welcoming you back to the Wildlife Retreat for a well-deserved getaway in the future.
