Starting at dawn, when the animals awaken, this leisurely-guided walk experience will take you to see some of the world's exotic and endangered species before the Zoo opens.
Informative and entertaining, the walk is suitable for people capable of walking three kilometres, taking approximately two hours to complete. Early Morning Walks are conducted every weekend and on NSW public holidays (excluding Christmas day, New Year's Day and ANZAC Day ) and additional walks are held on Wednesdays and Fridays during the eastern states public school holiday periods.
The cost is $15 per adult and $7.50 per child (4-15 years) in addition to Zoo admission. The tours commence at 6:45am from the Savannah Visitor Plaza, and no booking is required.
If time is of the essence visitors can undertake an Early Morning Walk only without Zoo admission at $25 per adult and $12.50 per child (4 - 15 years).
Please note there will be no early morning walk operating on Sunday 27 August 2017 due to the Dubbo Stampede Running Festival taking place this day.
Group bookings are welcome on any morning, please phone in advance to book. Contact 02 6881 1425.
