Following their hugely popular time on the streets, in the parks and public places of Sydney to Dubbo and surrounds, our Wild Rhinos are looking for new homes. The herd of 45 Wild Rhinos available for purchase at the much anticipated live auction will be on preview at The Star, Pyrmont from Saturday 10th May until Wednesday 14th May 2014. Make sure you get down there to select the rhinos you would like to bid on.
Don’t think you have room for a rhino in your house or back garden why not buy a rhino and donate it to a special charity. In addition your donation will be tax deductible.

Guide for bidders
Bids can be made in person by purchasing a ticket, registering and attending the live auction. You can pre-register for bidding here or, if you are unable to attend on the night, you can register for an absentee or telephone bid, The form is available here.

Your completed absentee or telephone bidding form must be received by 12 noon Tuesday 13 May 2014. Any absentee or phone bidding forms submitted after this time may not be accepted.
Each large size Wild Rhino weighs approximately 60kg and can be mounted on a (500kg) concrete plinth, if the buyer chooses, which is recommended for use when displaying outdoors. Small wild rhinos weigh approximately 15kg.
Buyers must have their purchases delivered to their chosen locations by Friday 23rd May 2014. Any purchases that are collected after Friday 23rd May will incur a storage fee of $100 per day until collected.
Buyers are responsible for all delivery costs associated with their purchases (including when the buyer donates the purchase to a charity). A representative from Kennards Hire will be present at the Auction to assist Buyers with their delivery needs. Kennards are the Official Hire & Logistics partner of Wild Rhinos and are experienced with safe transportation of the rhinos. Deliveries by Kennards will occur from Friday 16th May until Friday 23rd May 2014. Deliveries can be made on any day within this 7 day period, including weekends.
Alternatively, Buyers may make their own collection arrangements provided they take place between 9am and 4pm from Friday 16th May until Friday 23rd May 2014.

Sadly the world’s rhino population is barely keeping pace with the unprecedented poaching and habitat destruction. To date this year alone - one rhino is being lost to illegal poaching every 11 hours. This appalling crime is driving these majestic mammals close to extinction.
