The TODAY Show is in town! Essential information for tomorrow’s TODAY Show broadcast at the Zoo.

Members of the public are invited and welcome to be part of the crowd on Thursday 29 June.

To do so, they need to enter the Zoo between 5.30am and 8.30am. No entry fee will apply during this time.

From 8.30am the Zoo will open for normal trade and an admission ticket or membership card will need to be purchased or shown to access the Zoo circuit.

The location for the broadcast is the Savannah Safari area, at the base of the Savannah Viewing Tower between the Cheetah exhibit and Elephant exhibit.

Zoo staff and volunteers will be in position to direct traffic to this location. Please follow the instruction of our team members to ensure entry to the Zoo and parking is smooth for all.

Once at the broadcast location, members of the public are welcome to stay until the show ends at 9.00am, or if they wish to leave at any time during the broadcast, they can return to their vehicle and continue around the circuit back to the roundabout and exit the Zoo via the auto exit gate. Signage and Zoo team members will be in place to direct anyone needing assistance with exiting the Zoo.

A free barbecue will be available at the location and coffee will also be available for purchase (cash only).

We’re all hugely excited about tomorrow’s broadcast and really looking forward to showcasing the Zoo and the Dubbo and Wellington region to a national audience.

A huge thank you to the TODAY Show and our partners Destination NSW and Dubbo Regional Council for making this wonderful opportunity possible.

If you can’t make it to the Zoo for the broadcast, be sure to tune in to Channel Nine from 5.30am!
