Billabong Camp coming soon
Construction at Billabong Camp continues to progress well with the opening of this new immersive bush camping experience set to be in mid April 2013. The new camp site is taking shape with the amenities and communal dining area well underway along with access points and the ground work for each of the permanent camp sites. Billabong Camp at Taronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo will not only allow visitors to stay overnight in the Zoo but they will also experience face to face animal encounters as well as guided walking tours to meet some of the Zoo’s Asian and Australian animals.
