The pups were born in August and are enjoying exploring Taronga’s brand new Meerkat exhibit.
This is the fourth litter for experienced parents Nairobi and Maputo, having had three litters born last year.
The yet-to-be-named pups are developing quickly. Despite only weighing a few grams when born, they now tip the scales at over 250 grams and are now eating solid foods, such as mealworms and vegetables.
The best time for Visitors to see the newest additions to Taronga’s Meerkat is during the daily Meerkat Keeper talk at 11.30am.
