Zoo open and accessible by road

Taronga Western Plains Zoo is open for business as usual despite heavy rain in the region. The Zoo is looking very lush and green at the moment thanks to the recent rainfall so it is the perfect time to visit with a number of spring babies on the ground including a Zebra foal, Bison calf and Przewalski’s Horse foal. All major highways leading to the Zoo are open despite moderate flooding of the Macquarie River in Dubbo.  For further information about access to Dubbo via road and road closures go to the live traffic section at www.rta.nsw.gov.au or contact 132 701.If you have further questions about visiting the Zoo please contact 02 6881 1400.
