Ms Wendy Simpson BEnvMgt (Hons SusDev)
Natural Capital Specialist
Wendy has extensive experience in conservation and community project and program management roles spanning government, consulting, corporate and not-for-profit.
Through collaboration with First Nations Peoples, landholders, local communities and various stakeholders, she has delivered over 10,000 hectares of protection and restoration across Australia. This includes threatened ecological communities, habitat for threatened fauna species and the translocation and propagation of threatened flora species.
Wendy holds a Bachelor of Environmental Management with Honours in Sustainable Development from the University of Queensland, and in 2023 joined Taronga’s Restoration Programs Team as a Natural Capital Specialist to implement Taronga Habitat Positive.
