Enjoy a coffee, snack or lunch at the Waterhole cafe beside the Meerkats or overlooking the Barbary Sheep.
Let the kids run wild at the free water play park, with animal sculptures and water jets. They’ll also love the interactive Meerkat tunnel and pop up window bringing them eye to eye with the busy Meerkat mob.
It’s the pefect place to rest and relax half way around the Zoo circuit.

Meerkat
Grab a coffee overlooking the meerkat mob, then pop up for a closer look through their tunnel. Book a Meerkat Encounter to meet the curious crew up close.
Barbary Sheep
Did you know: Male Barbary Sheep (also known as aoudad) grow a long beard or mane that runs down the dewlap (extra folds of skin at their throat) and even along the front of their legs!
