This workshop is a unique, guided walking tour of the Taronga Western Plains Zoo site. Students will engage with Dreaming stories and cultural learnings while highlighting the strong connections between Aboriginal people and the natural world.
Explore Taronga’s homage to the traditional owners of this site through the Wiradjuri interpretation within the Zoo. Discover the binding relationships between flora and fauna and hear stories of the Dreaming describing creation of creatures and the landscape.
Stage 2 and Stage 3 English, History and Geography.
This experience will be delivered in the Amarti Education Centre at Taronga Western Plains Zoo.
