Year 11 Study Day: Biological Diversity

Explore Charles Darwin’s discovery of Australia’s diverse Biota.

This program has been developed by the Australian Museum, the Royal Botanic Gardens & Domain Trust and Taronga Zoo. Students will examine fossils, specimens, live animals and plants to understand biological diversity by explaining the relationships between a range of organisms in terms of specialisation for selected habitats and evolution of species.

For the first time ever, Biological Diversity Study Days are available on-site at Taronga Zoo Sydney! For other locations, booking dates and to book now, please visit the Australian Museum website.
