Kick start your October long weekend with a free Family Fun Day at the Savannah Visitor Plaza, Taronga Western Plains Zoo on Saturday 29 September 2018.

What’s on

The day will include a free Reptile Show at 10am, 12pm and 2pm as well as live entertainment from 1pm – 4pm by singer and guitarist Isaac Compton.

There will also be free kids activities including a jumping castle and face painting across the afternoon.

The Family Fun Day will be a great opportunity to relax with family and friends and enjoy some great entertainment, food and drinks whilst overlooking the beautiful Savannah Lake.

Need to know

Food and drink will be available for purchase, and the bar will be open.

Bakhita’s Café will be serving a variety of platters on the day including bruschetta, antipasto and a hot food platter, that can be ordered from the Savannah bar.

There will be plenty of delectable delights on the breakfast and lunch menu or grab takeaway items such as sandwiches, pies, burgers, drinks, cakes and coffee and enjoy the free entertainment on offer.
