Workshop overview
Join our Taronga Western Plains Zoo Educators to meet a diverse range of Australian animals and explore the fascinating stages of their life cycles! Through hands-on activities and engaging discussions, students will conduct up-close comparisons of different life cycles and learn how each stage supports the growth and development of animals in unique ways.
Students will also discover practical ways to support the needs of animals as they progress through these stages, fostering an understanding of how environmental factors and care impact their survival and wellbeing. This workshop encourages empathy, environmental responsibility, and a deeper appreciation for Australia’s rich and diverse wildlife.
